I am a native Texan and a proud graduate of Texas public schools. My family made a commitment to Prosper ISD when we moved here in 2012, before we even had children to enroll in the district. My wife Kristin and I are now the proud parents of three Prosper ISD students, and we know, without question, that Prosper ISD is the best district in the state of Texas - led by teachers in the classroom, coaches on the field, fine arts educators, and staff who put students first every day.

I have been serving as a leader and volunteer for more than 10 years in our community and have firsthand experience interacting with PISD staff and community leaders and learning about what makes our district successful.

 

CAREER LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

With over 25 years’ experience in the restaurant industry, leading large teams over multiple states, I have been an integral part of a leading company scaling more than ten times its size, since joining over 13 years ago. I have been entrusted to lead many different types of individuals and work to unite teams through positive, motivational management. In my industry, it is paramount that we unite everyone from various backgrounds, with vastly different experience, education and upbringings, together to accomplish a common goal.

This real-world experience is valuable to Prosper ISD in countless ways. Prosper is still experiencing unprecedented growth, which brings with it many new opportunities, challenges, and unforeseen circumstances. One of the things I am most proud of in my career is my ability to positively impact people and help them grow in their careers. The most rewarding part has been to see countless members of my team grow professionally and to be a part of them accomplishing things they never thought possible in their careers. With any explosive growth organization, it is critical that professional development is a key part of the plan. The more Prosper ISD invests in its staff, the more we will be prepared for growth - and our students will benefit. 

My business experience, paired with dedicated community involvement, gives me an intuitive perspective on where the schools, community, and business meet – and where I can make the most impact.
